Man, does anyone know what happened?
All I know is that computer was freaking out about a high threat everytime I went to Sarnworld.com for the past two days and now this? Weird. I hope it gets fixed soon! I’m so bored!
I hear ya guys. It was some sort of trojan virus. Everyone should scan their comps and clean it out.

OMG! yesterday i tried getting on it, but i couldn’t.. firefox was working fine but every time i would go to sarnworld, firefox would freeze.. and i didn’t understand why until i decided to go somewhere else, such as youtube, and for youtube, it worked perfectly fine.. so i realize that it was sarnworld and not my computer.. but yeah, i then still decided to clean my computer just in case… mann, i swear, i cleaned it like four times yesterday in a row…. i was freaking out because i was scared i would lose all of my downloads if it really was my computer… but phew! glad that i’m not the only one with the trouble of trying to get onto sarnworld..
I don’t really thing it’s a virus Khoon Ta (Darvil) is usually really cautious. I just think that the people hosting the server is having some issues. Because sarNworld has been working fine me for me. I just can’t connect due to the database error ^__^ I’m sure Joey or Khoon Tah Will get it up and running soon.

Omg. lol. I thought i was the only one who had these problems. HAHA. I usually surf the web on firefox, but sarnworld would just not work on it, so i tried internet explorer, and it did. I kept like restarting it, changing users everything. lmao. firefox would freeze for me to and it would say its not responding. grr. I cant get on spicy or sarnworld. Im boredd !!

I now realized how boring it is without SW!!!!! It must be a day of virus outbreaks or
something cause even Myspace gave me problems. All I did was click “Home” and all of a
sudden, the browser kept opening a new window. I was bombarded with over a 100 open
windows!! I had to disable my internet to make it stop. Whewww……. what a day. LOL….
Having an internet life isn’t easy..
if you’ve visited SW then it’s highly recommended that you scan your computers for the trojan virus. it’s a low threat, but it still infects your computer.
wow i’m on mac at home and a pc at work…hmmm…my mac is ok but my pc was acting weird today…SW still down though sadness!!! I’ll have to scan my computer at work tomorrow morning…i hope the IT guys don’t kick my butt…ahhh now i’m a lil scared…
i’m glad we’re in here talking about it…i’ve been checking on SW all day today…hope they get up and running soon..

I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one who thought something was going on. I went to sarNworld and every virus application that I have on my computer started bugging out. McAfee wouldn’t even let the page load and I had to disable it just to go to sarNworld. And when the page finally loaded another one of the programs popped up saying that some of the cookies from the website were infected with a trojan. I’ll scan my computers and let you all know if I find anything.
Anyway, thankfully Lyn put this up on her blog because we’d have no clue what’s going on with SW.
Until SW comes back…I guess I’ll do some studying. =[ lol
You know what now it’s a little strange because every other site that runs on the same server as sarNworld works except sarNworld. Ahh it seems like sarNworld’s directories have been deleted now im a bit worried lol. but we’ll see.
so weird, the domain name was disabled. Something is really up.

Well see sarNworld is hosted at darv’s work place I think and since he’s on vacation I don’t think anyone is managing it from his office. We won’t be able to know until either Joey figures out whats up or until Khoon Ta gets from Burma to Thailand. -.-. I’m been trying to contact Joey and see if she knows whats up. I miss sw! The weird thing is that sarNworld’s wiki still works http://wiki.sarNworld.com

so I’m guessing that it’s only affecting sarNworld because I believe sarNworld is on a different box from the rest -.O so the admin probably disabled it. Which could be khoon tah himself until he gets somewhere where he can fix it. He posted on sw actually about some dns issues so that could be it also. but I’m sure we’ll find out in the next 24-48 hours.
From obizgo & iptv? With Window Media Recorder 10-12 are the ones that work best. I have the program uploaded actually at sarnworld but =[ lol. The one I use is Window Media Recorder 12 which I don’t have a patch or crack for cause it’s purchased -.O and the serial can only be used once. But let me check if i can find it on my back up hard drive
i guess some smart ass person embedded a virus into sarnworld forum. everytime you load a page it direct to the virus. sarn probably disable the forum by herself so people wouldn’t get infected. btw i use wm recorder 10 for obizgo and iptv.
yeah peaches o.O that would make sense actually lol why sarNworld isn’t working but every other site hosted on the server is working. im sure i have a copy of wmr 10 but im scanning my hd right now lol i have so much junk in there I don’t know whats what lol

I was freaking out when Sarnworld wasn’t working for me either. I was like, “WHAT? DISABLED? HELL NO!” LMAO. But I hope that everything et fixed and nothing really serious happened. I miss SW bad. That’s where I get all of my Thai lakorns/star updates, lol.

Wait ladyofdarkness, when you got on you got bombarded with the window opening like a 100 times, mine too! I freaked out and my brother turned it off. When I got back on i scanned it but it said it was clean! What should I do, I just got this comupter like 3 weeks ago as a very expensive gift!

okay… at least i wasn’t the only one who was having problems with SW… like everyone said.. the antivirus and spam filters on my computer goes crazy each time SW is opened and the broswer freezes…
hopefully it will be up again… life would not be complete without SW…

I don’t know if I should be happy or sad that Sarnworld is down at the moment, because since I was bored and have nothing better to do and I was done translating Pom Ruk Roy Adeed Episode 7 for Skies, I decided to play around with the sub. work, and finally figured it out how it works. So I got done subbing half of ep. 7
LOL and don’t ask me why I started at episode 7 instead of the first episode, because I don’t know why either hahahahaha LOL.
hi gurl it been the whole day and the sw have not went back on it seem that all of us are missing out the lakorn that we love it would be nice if lyn create a page where all of us upload the lakorn and for us to download them that would be great. i really miss sw so much missing out all of the lakorn that all the peers are uploading them.

I miss SW too. My pc got a virus. I has to disconnect from internet for 2 days. I don’t know where the virus came from but I was only in SW for the entire net surfing. The virus I got is at the red level which is high threat. So clean your pc with an update security tool, because Norton 360 I has on my pc didn’t detect it until I recently got a new Norton AntiBot software to detect it.
sighh………….. it’s still not working!!!!! I feel so……… so empty. =:::::::::::::::::::::(

Cecilia, I miss the Badarn Jai thread too. thinkjaden finished subbing most of episode 7 and the teaser for episode 8 on YouTube. After watching, I have all kinds of ideas/questions/theories about what’s going to happen and nobody to discuss it with besides my sister lol.

Lili, that sucks. I scanned my computer and all the scanners say I don’t have a virus, but it’s still acting kind of weird. So I’m going to have to figure out something in the mean time.
Well I’ve tried e-mailing khoon tah aka darv lol to sarNies but he hasn’t responded to my e-mails so I don’t know if he knows whats up yet or even seen our e-mails and Joey can’t even get in to fix it right now so right now we have to play the waiting game until darv gets back but no worries it’s no biggie everything will still be there lol because of course we know everything is backed up so the key to all sites back up your data lol I do it weekly I haven’t gotten in contact with sarN because I don’t remember which contact list I saved her on lol but be patient girls we still have lyns blog and other forums to meet for right now! LOL

So you done with subbing, that’s so cool. Did you get the rest of the translating I PMed it to you or just that one? What is your email address, I’ll email it to you then. I was just playing around with the subbing, and I have to say is lotsssss of works and very time consumming LOL. We can still help each other out with the subbing that way I can concentrate more on my rough and tumble translations hahahahaha LOL. If you find some mistake or grammar please fix it ok.

^skies, those are soft sub, if you need to hardsub it, you need a program to do it, usually work best in virtual dub or tmpeg. something like that. once you hardsubbed it, you can upload it to YOUTUBE otherwise, forward your soft sub file to one of your crew member to hardsub it. hope this help.

Hey guys, is SW still down? I was searching on google last night and every time SW site came up, there’s a note saying the “site may harm computer”.
I have the same error message. But I think the site is still up and running, but is at your own risk if you want to go in. So you’re risk getting virus if you do.
But goodluck to whoever still want to go in. Just make sure you have good virus protections and scan for virus on your computer, make sure it didn’t caught any virus ok.
As for me I don’t want to take chance, so I won’t go in until Darvil fix everything first… since I don’t know anything about computer, I don’t want to ruin my computer.
It’s fine if you’re using Firefox. I think the site has been reported to Firefox that’s why it is saying ““site may harm computer”. For the past couple of days, I’ve been on there and it is fine.
If you’re using IE please switch to Firefox because it is much better and safer as well. As you all know, every Microsoft product is bound to have many bugs.
Lastly, please have an up to date anti-virus, firewall, and Ad-ware remover. Maya, you won’t get a virus if you have an up to date anti-virus software and if you don’t install anything that you don’t know on your computer.
It is fixed by Darvil. Sarnworld is virus free now.
However, I can never stress to everyone to have an up to date anti-virus, firewall and ad-ware remover.
Thank you Eternal for letting me know. How ever I still have that message when click on the site. I just bought this computer no long ago, so I believe is up-to-date with anti-virus software, it usually run virus check on itself… it did that yesterday too and no problem, just one cookie but is all taking care of now. I just want to make sure is safe that’s all.
Maya, after I upgraded to Firefox version 3, I got the same message as you did but with version 2 I did not get it.
I just sent Google an email request for them to recheck Sarnworld again so that they can take the site off their watch list.
Everyone use this version: Firefox Setup 2.0.0.16 because Version 3.00 has been giving me problems. I can’t even log in with version 3. If Sarnworld keep coming up blank then just hit refresh and it should work.
