An update about my Iheartlakorns.com blog, I don’t know what’ s up. I have to wait until my webmaster Tina gets back on the 20th. Hopefully she gets back by then.
Right now, all I can do is wait and move on. So the show must go on and my latest post will be about ratings. I’m very much confuse about Thai rating systems. Not that it really matters. If I like it, I watch it regardless of ratings. This is the first time encountering the ratings in a ranking format. Usually, I just get random info from news articles.
Numbers for the week of November 3-9, AC Nielsen average for Lakorns.
1. Kahard Saeng Jun (Poo and Num): 13-15 and rising
2. Silamanee (Kob and Paul): 11-12 (steady)
3.Nang Sao Yenridee (Art and Noon S.): 10-11
4.Gor Mahatjun (Jib and A): 10-10.8
5. Heep Lon Son Winyan (Dew and Fang): 7.5-7.9
6. Jai Rao (Ken and Aff): 6.9-7 (This is just for the first week on air, it could rise (?))
7. Koo Puan Olawon (Vee and Tangmoe): 6.8-7.0 (before much lower than this. Ratings have gone up)
8. Dao Jarot Fah (Benz and Rome):6.5-7.0
9.Sanae Nang Ngiew (Tong and Film): 6.0-6.5 (For the adolescent group, rating is 6.9)
10. Din Neua Tong (Bua and Oil): 4.9-5.6
How do you feel about the ratings, do you agree? Silamanee is beating Jai Rao but Silamanee has been on air longer.
Well Jai Rao just started so it might be rising later on after a few more episodes
I like Aum and Oil qhen are them going to play movies together miss them to being together…
Its so wonderfull I met Oil and Lift in real life them both are so cute and handsome i met the wife she is wonderfull and oil sister p’mok.. i wish Aum the pretties girl tag along too.. Oil and Lift concert in sacramento is so awesome wish them too go home safe and come back to visit us fans over here again soon…

Well, Silamanee has only 4 episodes out also which is not a big different from Jai Roa! But I do hope Jai Roa is rising coz it’s such a good lakorn. At the mean while I also hope Silamanee will rise more coz it’s getting more exciting and it said to have 14 episodes. So with 10 left eipisodes, it’s a sure that it should rise higher!
I like Silamanee more than Jai Rao. More exciting!
Agree! I love Silamanee more too! It’s such a great lakorn with perfect acting skill like Kob and Paul! Silamanee deserves to be a higher rating though it’s already higher than most of the lakorns on air now!
After this week, I’m positive that Silamanee will shine highest above all of the lakorns!

i’m not surpise Jai Rao’s rating is soo low..i dunno it might go up after a couple more episodes…but if it doesn’t it’s okay…cuz seem like the thai fans doesn’t reallie like the korean type stories?
hmm..now I want to check out Num’s lakorn. the rating is still high. But then again.. i don’t really go by the ratings. I’ve got my own preferences.
I haven’t seen all the dramas, but I have to say I like Silamanee more than Jai Rao, too.
Dang JR is so low…i hope it goes up…i do like Silamanee though..hmmm haven’t even checked out Num and Poo’s lakorn…is it really that good???
I love Silamanee… Jai Rao just seems like soo much depress in it. I agree with Kashi, JR tends to be more into korean drama… not the lakorn style much. Heheee but still, ken and aff have great acting skill!
Hope both will Have Really good rating in the future! (and the other lakorns… haven’t watched it cozz no eng sub… so no comment)
To be honest I’m not really into Ken & aff “jai rao” lakorn, the 1st time i watched the the trailer feel that the story is too ordinary and very much easy to guess.
Beside Aff’s character in jai rao thought that will be similar with her role in “defendant of love”, love this guy (in jai rao it’s ken t. and in defendant of love it’s aum a.), but still closer to another nice guy (in jai rao it’s her fiancee in defendant of love it’s her childhood friend) and at the end she will break the nice guy’s heart and end up with who else…. ^^ (we know the answer).
The lakorn that is really make me feeling curious is silamanee. This is the 1st time I watch Kob acting as a princess and she’s really good at it. Beside the story is unlikely like another typical romance lakorns, silamanee is more intense and in a way Kob’s beautifulness give more value to watch this lakorn. Noted that Kob is prettier than Aff and she’s acting much better than her (just watch her lakorns, she’s really into her roles).
Can’t wait for Ann tropangsom coming lakorn with Aum A. and Chakrit, her acting also wonderful and refreshing.
there’s none too alike. that’s what everyone always say, however, i kind of think the same about silamanee and jai rao. silamanee is easy to predict because it’s a remake and jai rao is too out of the ordinary kr and tw drama kind. right now i’m just watching it for fun, the rating i’m giving it is five each out of ten. believe it or not, i’m more into poo and num in kahard saeng jun…typical lakorn but interesting. num isn’t very well matched with her but she play n’ek is really pretty too, 10/10 from my side. ^_^

Agree with lia00027. I don’t knoe if it’s just meh or others too I’m just not into Jai Rao b/c it’s more like a korean drama where i once see already. It’s like u know what’s gonna happen next already so yeah. Anyhow i realize that they remaking lots and lots of lakorns.

Well, I also think the same thing! I don’t really like Jai Roa that much! I don’t hate it or anything coz my favorite actors/actresses are in it. But just the storyline doesn’t get me hooked. Unlike Silamanee, I was so addicted and kept rewatching the past 4 episodes each night! It’s just there is a special charm in it and I couldn’t explain. It’s totally get me exciting when I see pricess Ngam in that.
But still I hope Jai roa rating will go up more coz I still love Ken and Aff. However, I’m very sure that Silamanee will shine highest above all after a couple more episodes coz I heard it will get more intense and exciting when Paul fall in love with Kob I mean the fabric merchant.
Though I was super excited for Jai Rao because of Ken…I would honestly have to admit that Silamanee is sooo much better. I use to watch a lot of Korean dramas and the reason why I drifted over to Thai dramas was because Korean dramas were too much like Jai Rao—toooooooo slow and toooooooo lame–I found myself fast forwarding through a whole drama.
Whereas in Thai dramas like Silamanee it moves at a faster pace and there are a lot more action–I rarely if ever fast forward though the episodes because I’m afraid that I’ll miss a cool argument/scene!
I was disappointed with Jai Rao, the storyline was boring and predictable, and it just didn’t catch my attention. Too slow and I Aff’s character always cry and cry. I like Silamanee, there is always something going on, its suspenseful, wanting you to watch more and more. I’ve always watch Kob since I was little and I still like her, she’s still a great actress, I’m sorry Ken and Aff can not beat her in her talent.
I would pick Silamaneee too! Silamanee has much more flavors to it! The acting was superb, the outfit was beautiful and the storyline is perfect. I can’t wait for more. Sorry for ken and Aff’s fans, though I love Ken and Aff too, but I will have to skip Jai Roa for now. Maybe I will watch it when I finish Silamanee!
Unlike everyone else I LOVE JAI RAO! Maybe it’s just my preference but I love those heartbreaking lakorns! I do agree that the first episode was a bit too much with all that crying..but the other episodes have been flowing better and the story is developing well. Both Ken an Aff are doing a great job too! Ken is always at his best with these type of roles…can’t wait to watch more!
wow i would think everyone would want to watch the first episode of Jai Rao thus the rating would of been higher.. but oh well.

Jai Roa episode 4 today was pretty good! Ken and Aff are so talented. I love them. However, when Silamanee air this weekend, it would be even better coz I heard there is one scene that Paul will save Kob and he has to carry her or sth according to Dirtii-Laundry blogg!. Sounds so interesting and I can’t wait!
I am not surprise by Jai Rao’s rating. Honestly, if I would have rated low too. I think that his character in this lakorn is over-shadow by his character as Kawee from Sawang Bieng. I see a lot of the same posture or character from the character Vic to Kawee and because I love him and Kawee it was hard for me to watch Jai Rao.
I do think Aff is pretty when she smile and is a good match with Ken. The lakorn just doesn’t interest me much.
Right now, I’m waiting for Ann’s lakorn with Aum and there is no doubt in my mind that she will be splendid in there and there will be a lot of drama as she has to act as a mental/instable person…
For me, I would have to go with Silamanee too. Kob’s accent is really cute in the lakorn
As for Jai Rao, it may rise, but it’s not going to be over like 12 I don’t think. And it’s definitely not going to go “thru the roof” like ch3 claims either.
I would have to say that Jai Rao and Silamanee are both good. These two lakorns are UNIQUE and different in their own way. I give them both a rating of 10.
