Oh my gosh, let me tell you, the second half of Badarn Jai ep5 freaking rocked. In the second half, Tor pretty much forced marriage down Perng’s throat over a kiss. A KISS. This is really a first, no pra’ek has ever taken responsibility over a kiss. They usually take responsibility when they intentionally impregnate the nang’ek or take her somewhere over night. BUT never for a KISS. Perng agrees to the marriage because she secretly loves him.

I had to take Handicap (my mother broke her ankle, so we call her the handicap) to her doctor’s appointment so I didn’t get a chance to watch the first half of the episode.
I think I missed 20 minutes of the show. This is what I have.
As usual, Caps are up but no description.
I love Tor! Like Monthai, he has the lamest excuses for his actions. When Perng asked why Tor would tell everyone that she had agreed to marry him when she hasn’t even thought about it, he tells her it’s because of the kiss. He has to take responsibility for the KISS and this marriage will mean nothing. GOOD Lord, what a lying mofo! You like her. You even lub lub her! Ew!
Yea, they kissed and Tor made the first move too. It was so random and Perng was shocked and so was everyone else who witnessed it. Their mouths dropped and Prim almost had a heart attack.

Today’s episode was very cute. He is starting to like her but tries to keep his feelings in check. If he likes her, he feels like he is betraying his dead gf. I know…dude is disturbed.
Indeed Badarn Jai is a very slow lakorn but the subtle interaction between the characters makes up for it.

Caps up, sorry about the grammar. I did it in a rush. I’ll recheck it later.
Bajarn Jai is a well-casted and superbly acted lakorn but sometimes I wish there were more action—> more conflict. Get to the point already!
Today’s episode was alright. Tor (Aum) finally shaved off his beard and trimmed his hair. He became a decent looking man and less of a caveman. Applause to him!

I really heart Badarn Jai. I’m enjoying the humor and the interaction between the couples. It’s subtle and not over the top like some lakorns. It’s natural. It’s not trying to be a lakorn.
I especially love Margie as the perky and full of life Perm. Margie plays this role very well. Perm has this intrusive and headstrong personality that’s not going to take “No” for an answer from her maniac depressive, anti-social pra’ek. I love how she marches into his life without fear or hesitation and tries to bring him out into the sunlight. No matter how hard he tries to push her away, she stands her ground and challenges him back. I don’t think he realizes it now, but he already lost to her.
